Occupy New Jersey demonstrators move protest of corporate greed to Journal Square in Jersey City

The "Occupy New Jersey" demonstrators who protested outside the Goldman Sachs building on the Jersey City waterfront late last week have moved their rally to Journal Square tonight.

Leaders of the group, which numbered roughly 50 people this afternoon on the Jersey City waterfront, said they were going to call the group "Occupy Journal Square" in the social media.

About 25 to 30 people have gathered in Journal Square at the moment, congregating near the fountain, just outside the entrance to the PATH station. The demonstrators are standing near the fenced in vacant lot where developers have proposed to building two 50-plus story towers with residential and commercial tenants as well as an onsite parking deck.

The plan was proposed more than three years ago and never got off the ground, except for condemning the buildings that were there, scattering the businesses there and demolishing the buildings.

Earlier today the demonstrators said they planned on camping out in Journal Square, much like the Occupy Wall Street crowd has planted itself in Lower Manhattan.

Big Soros Money Linked to “Occupy Wall Street”

Labor unions, communists, “community organizers,” socialists, and anti-capitalist agitators have all joined together to “Occupy Wall Street” and protest against “greed,” corporations, and bankers. But despite efforts to portray the movement as “leaderless” or “grassroots,” it is becoming obvious that there is much more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye.

Billionaire financier George Soros’ fingerprints, for example, have been all over the anti-Wall Street campaign from the very beginning. And this week, the infamous hedge-fund boss publicly announced his sympathy for the protesters and their complaints about bailouts — despite the fact that he lobbied for even greater unconstitutional handouts to bankers in 2009.

“Actually I can understand their sentiment, frankly,” he told reporters while announcing a large donation to the United Nations. “I can sympathize with their grievances.”

But Soros’ support for the protesters goes far beyond his tepid public statements. In fact, the original call to “Occupy Wall Street” came from the magazine AdBusters, an “anti-consumerist” publication financed by, among other sources, the Soros-funded Tides Foundation.

Kalle Lasn

Biography
Kalle Lasn is the driving intellectual force behind the anti-corporate Adbusters Media Foundation.

In his writings, Lasn rails against the modern world and the progress that has made everyone’s life better. “The aggregate level of American life fulfillment peaked in 1957, and with a couple of brief exceptions, it’s been downhill from there,” he writes in his book Culture Jam: How to Reverse America's Suicidal Consumer Binge -- and Why We Must. Lasn calls the car “arguably the most destructive product we humans have ever produced.”

Lasn’s utopia is far from that of most Americans. He recommends “Not just a carbon tax, but a global across-the-board pricing system.” An example of life in this brave new world? “Your private automobile will cost you, by some estimates, around $100,000. And a tankful of gas, $250.”

The Adbusters Media Foundation (AMF) is a not-for-profit, anti-consumerist organization founded in 1989 by author/activist Kalle Lasn and wilderness cinematographer Bill Schmalz in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Foundation describes itself as "a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age.

According to journalist Aaron Klein, the September 17 New York City protests—which ultimately drew about 1,000 participants—apparently represented “the culmination” of a campaign by Wade Rathke, founder of ACORN and president of an SEIU local in New Orleans, who in March 2011 had issued a call for “days of rage in ten cities around JP Morgan Chase.” Rathke's efforts were supported by Stephen Lerner, an SEIU board member and radical-left organizer who candidly aims to “destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement”; “bring down the stock market”; “bring down [the] bonuses” of executives in the financial sector; and “interfere with their ability to ... be rich.”

Between 2001 and 2011, AMF received $176,500 in grants from the Glaser Progress Foundation, and $309,773 from the Tides Foundation.

Pop some of those "foundations" and orgs into discover the networks like for instance, "PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS OF AMERICA"...you will be amazed at how the same cast of characters keep coming through loud and clear.

Just like those who are the movers behind THIS occupy Fishing trip are all the same cast of familiar characters.

Don't allow your justified disenchantment with all that we are facing to be used against you...because that is what these people do. They create the shit situation, then use that to move people who are pissed off about it to progress THEIR cause. They do not give a SHIT what you want or think, they want to bring on a communist style Utopian warped societal system where YOU are going to be a good worker bee in the hive they create and manage while they lord over you from their elitist lofty position.

If you think things are tuff under a capitalist society?....you ain't seen nothing yet...

I'm sure I could find more connections easily and that the surface is hardly scratched here.

The Point of this blog

Some of you may think that I am try to protect wall street hell fucking no. To hell with wall street and all the criminals there. However, I cant help but suspect that this Occupy wall street protest happening in lower manhattan, NYC.

1. How fast this movement got media attention.

Like the tea party, this occupy wall street movement has grown really fast and has gained tons of media attention either for and against it. I cant help but compare the media attention that 9/11 truth got took years to just get dismissal coverage like it was very unimportant just mention it to shut those people up type thing. Yet occupy wall street is being used as yet another way to play the stupid ass two party system like the tea party. Don't get me wrong I agree with the tea party and occupy wall street on certain things. Me personally I am a conservative libertarian but I am far from a liberal. In fact I have goals to be more independent and actively working towards those goals but that is a subject for another blog.

2. The communist/Socialist/Marxist infestation that is growing there.

A lot of people are calling for an end to capitalism. If the pure capitalism described by Marx ever existed, it has long since disappeared, as governments in the United States and many other countries have intervened in their economies to limit concentrations of power and address many of the social problems associated with unchecked private commercial interests. As a result, the American economy is perhaps better described as a "mixed" economy, with government playing an important role along with private enterprise. The thing is many of the issue we are having today could be resolved if we did have a pure capitalist free market system. Feel free correct me if I am wrong but along with that we reenacte Glass–Steagall Act

3. This an overall ineffective protest.

Watch this video Fascists love ineffective protest - FKN Newz 04-01-11

For these reasons I have no faith in these protest. Because they are asking for permission and not just practicing and fucking up the system by simply not participating. I believe the Individual Succession from society will work.
